so, i decided to do a beauty tag, of your ten most worn beauty items. i might do a video tag for it as well for my youtube channel. yeah. god knows that needs to be updated. as far as who i tag, i tag all of yous!!
1. face cleanser ; noxzema, im faithful to it. lls. since the dawn of puberty.


2. face moisturizer ; umm. i like the clean & clear oxygenating ultra light moisturizer w. spf 15, i love it, its light weight, smells awesome!


3. foundation ; two ; maybelline pure makeup in dark#2 caramel. great price, oil free, & shine free. i love it. & maybelline's mineral power perfecting foundation, same color. this one has spf 18! to be honest i really like maybelline's foundations.



4. face powder ; well there is a tie between two. n.y.c loose powder in translucent & maybelline's mineral power finishing veil


5. pencil and/or liquid eyeliner ; love love love my e.l.f liquid eyeliner pen, only $1! and their black eyeliner pencil, its easier to apply vs. nyc or wet & wild eyeliner pencils. idk, maybe its softer & creamier? plus; it doesnt run!


6. single and/or pallette eyeshadow ; tie between two, i have the l.a. color 12 eyeshadow pallette in traditional, which consist of mainly browns, bronzy copper-ish & neutral colors, then my l'oreal h.i.p matte duo shadows in 'dashing', which is a nude tan-ish color, and a matte black.


7. lip products ; i usually apply a lip chapstick. lip stick, love my wet & wild mega colors in pure sky, w. a match up w. my victoria secret beauty rush lip gloss in slice of heaven. FAVORITE OF ALL TIME, is my l'oreal h.i.p liquid lip shine in #660 euphoric, its pink, and its my most worn aside from my one mentioned above, i wear these literally every other day. lls.


8. mascara ; im absolutely in love w. this new hard candy ginormous lash volumizing mascara. i believe it was 6 bucks. yu can tell a MAJOR difference in the length as well as the volume of your lashes!, cool thing, they come in different colors, purple, blue, silver, i think 6 or 7 color choices in all. clearly will be snatching these up. quick.


9. blush ; l.a. colors dual blush set in blusing & mauvee, i use the blushing, which is a apricot-ish color, as a highlight on the apple of my cheeks, then the mauvee which is a light wine color to contour the hallows, and the whole face.


and last but not least;


10. make up remover ; i simply use a baby wipe, or my almay makeup removal wipes, which are awesome =)

flippin a. my day was damn they almost wrecked before it even started. so karma was suppose to go to w. her dad over to her other grandma's house in miami for the weekend. he was suppose to be leaving this morning, be at my house this afternoon, before i have to go to work @ 530, and then head to his moms house. well last nite, to make sure i packed karma up enough clothes, i text him.
me; heyhim; whats up.me; nothing. just tryin to make sure karma is all ready to go tomorrow.him; change of plans. leaving saturday morning.me; well what time on saturday, cause i have to go to work.him; early, i dont know yet.
i didnt text him back, only to wake up and see a message from him, last nite, that asked me what i was doing, i told him i went to sleep. when in all actuality, i did, after a bad mouth his ass on twitter, nothing bad, just tellin everyone i cant stand her sperm donor. so i stressed all nite, cause i didnt have a sitter lined up for karma seeing as how, i thought she was gonna be gone, so i stressed to bryan aka the hubby all last night about how ima have to call out from work, i cant believe he did this shit. i freakin hate him, the only good that came from him was my daughter, then he wonders why we cant get along, because he pulls the rug from under me all the time, [we wont get into the previous situations when me & him were living together, that ish was...i digress] so luckily on a whim, as i was lookin for something for my mom at freakin 6 something in the morning, i climed back in bed w. bryan only to remember, once again on a whim i remembered that my brother is off and he usually watches karma whenever im in a bind and he is off. and just my luck, im in a bind and he is off today, can we say thank god?
i try to have a civil relationship w. karma's father, i truly do, but then when he pulls shit like this it makes me wonder why i even wasted my time w. him. but if i hadnt been so naive, or better yet had i truly seen how he was as a person, i highly doubt karma would be here. and thats the god honest truth. but i dont fault karma for he fathers shinanagins. i fault him and him alone, he a grown ass man and he act like this.

so alot of things have been going on, nothing major, just somethings i would like to keep my bloggers updated on. SCHOOL is right around the corner, thats right after damn there a year and a half out of school, my black ass is finally going back, thank god. im dying to buy new supplies, i am ADDICTED to pens, sad but so true. karma's father, is coming this FRIDAY, yes people,, my hubby is NOT karma's father, though out in public people thing so. the only reason why this is such an issue, first off, karma hasnt seen rick since july, whatever, then he is one of those baby daddies [<--i hate using this term] that feel that regardless of who i am with [cause yes he does know about bryan] that he can get it, naw bra you good. so im setting myself up for that only cause there is the possibility of him staying the night here with all of us, as in my mother, brother and the dogs. me & bryan dont stay with each other. yet. so im like damn, here we go, plus i feel an arguement will ensue. once again, whatever. MAKE UP, i have had some hauls, but i guess nothing i would consider to be too major, i have found my favorite new lip colors via L'OREAL HIP LIQUID LIPSHINE only for them to freakin discontinue it, freakin a man, just may freakin luck, but i guess. lol. BLOGS, i am such a bad blogger on my weightloss blog, i have made a good promise to myself on the list of promises to make that a neccessity, as much as update this blog. i have been awarded two new blog awards, that i must post today. i have been a TWITTER FANATIC, seriously, if im not on here, find me on twitter :) JOBS, i have a job and its great, but im thinkin, it maybe time for another source of income on my part. bryan is still not having any luck in the job department, but once again we hold our heads high and continue to search. »closer relationship w. god, equals a better life? [kinda long]

so yesterday we recieved a package from my grandmother for all of us, [ my mom, brother, karma & myself]. it contained some items from our family reunion this past summer, a check for my brother & karma, which is good, karma got a daycare bill to pay, lol. & a couple of items for me & my mom. sidenote; in relation to this, my mom, i want to say has really became a devout christian over the past year, maybe even more, she attends damn there every church activity she can, goes to bible study, most of the time is right after work, she made sure she had sundays off so she can attend church, she sings in the choir, i mean she went to church before, but never like this, so as me & my brother got older, she truly tried to get us into the church 'thing'. when we were younger we sang in the choir, and partcipated in church activities, but all under the wings of our mother, so when she left virginia after her & our father seperated, church became lacking in our lives, my dad aint to big on church himself, which means, we aint have to go. sundays included chillin at home or w. friends, doin last minute homework, laundry or watchin the game. so as ryan [my brother] entered high school, and i was away at college, any conversation i would have w. my mom as far as stress about school or just stress about anything, take it to god, or go to church is what i heard. yeah yeah yeah blah blah blah is what came out my mouth. [now, i can see had i listened, i think i still would be in school & karma would be in my FUTURE plans, but nonetheless, i do thank god i have her :) ] but my grandmother has been a modern type devout christian. unlike some christians, she doesnt wear her christianity on her sleeve, like its something she needs the whole world to know, i guess to sum her up, she's not overly flashy about her religion, like some over the top christians. my mother, is kinda hoovering the line of it, but i feel as though if it make her happy, im good. so lets get back to how all that relates to this package i got. anyways, so i recieved two books. one is a lil book called 'our daily bread'. you may have seen them. they contain 3 months of daily devoutions that you read each day. the one that both me & my mother got, contain the month of sep,oct and nov. i always thought they were pretty neat, its like your little moment w. god before you start your day. you read it while drinkin your coffee and they you go. i will definitely be reading it for the remander of this month and as well as for november. now the second book, 'a woman's walk with god; growing in the fruit of the spirit' is, well i dont know. what it says on the back is this:"nurturing your walk with god..and cultivating the fruit of the spirit in your life. Do you yearn for a closer walk w. the god you so love? For a freater understanding of what it means to walk with him? For the marks of His prescence on your life? Author Elizabeth George gives a practival help for how yyou can grow in the fruit of the spirit.' so, i mean i dont know, i guess its like a self help book on learning how to improve your relationship w. god. there is a study guide, that you can use to accompany the book, i will probably get that so i can have it to use along w. the book, once i begin reading it. my grandmother also wrote a message in it that said, 'read this as a guide and a gift to Karma. you owe it to her to be the best woman and mother you can be.' yeah no added pressure, whatsoever. at one point in time, i questioned my mother abilities [i was unemployed, not in school and going absolutely no where, no time fast, & following karma's father like a broke dick puppy damn sure wasnt the solution, smh. i digress] so, i guess its a good thing, that i did recieve them, because lately i have been wanting to improve my relationship w. god, and i know that attending church isnt all the it entails, its a start, but its just a steping stone & i want it to go deeper than that. i feel that once i improve my relationship w. god, all things will fall in line, my relationship w. my mother, life, i will have a better and much more stronger relationship w. my fiance, and i can improve my friendship w. karma's father. and life would be soo much more stress free.i always felt that a closer relationship w. god would equal a very comfortable life situation. im not sayin it would be and easy fix, and your life would be perfect, but when life would seem stressful, you would have his guidance to help ease the blow. and learn from the expiereince. vs. stress yourself to the brink of destruction only to want to say fxck it, and try your hardest to forget all about it. im really estatic to study this book and see where it takes me. i will definitely be doing a update on how it goes. let me know how you guys are dealing w. your own spirituality, how a stronger relationship w. god has truly changed your life. let me know!

nfl players =gun violence?

couldnt think of a better title. now, dont get it twisted im not saying as soon as a guy enters the nfl he is automatically involved w. some sort of gun violence, but i was just watching something on e! dealing w. ray carruth and the incident that occured w. him and his baby mother. so i have to ask myself, what the hell is it with these football players and some sort of gun violence, check the list below.
-ray carruth - kills baby mother, over child support payments & his vision that she isnt fit to be his baby mother.fred lane - killed by wife & mother to his children, over money greed.steve mcnair - killed by jumpoff [aka his other women] who then killed herself, over what? i havent the slightest idea. probably got tired of being the side women, and wanted him all to herself. wont justify her actions, because mcnair was steppin out on his wife, but i digress..plaxico burress- shot HIMSELF, over being an idiot. lls. sean taylor- killed over some sensless b.s., whats sad, is that his girlfriend and child had to witness [not in the sense of sitting there watching, but heard] everthing that happened. i mean the list can go on and on and one, its just crazy to see all the players, directly involved in gun violence. idk, it was just something interesting....[click here for a partial list of nfl players involved w. gun violence]

-so doing my usually drugstore makeup rounds, i spotted these at the register while i was checking out. i remember using Jordana products back in high school, nothing serious. but i figured i would give it a try. i actually already have a felt tip liquid eyeliner by either l'oreal or maybelline, not sure, but i know i paid a hellava penny for it only for it to really not do what i needed for it to do. so needless to say i was a tad bit on the fence about it. but i figured, its only $2 dollars, and what the hell. so i tried it, like maybe 2 days after i got it, [and used it for my look today] & i have got to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DAMN PEN!, its percision, it doesnt drag or skip, which is what happened w. the other liquid liner pen. & it doesnt deliver too much product at one time, which means it doesnt run. i'am overly excited for this product, and i am headed out the door to buy like 3 more! lls. rather overstock than be ass out like i was yesterday about another product that i needed and low and behold they were out :( but w. this product here, clearly gets MIMI'S GRADE 'A' SEAL OF APPROVAL! the only thing i wish, is that it would come in different colors, i know they have the liquid liners w. the brushes in different colors, but i have yet to see a liquid eyeliner pen in different colors than black and/or brown.

so, i was browsin the make up aisle in walgreens as i always do :) & to my surprise some of the make up that never, and i mean NEVER goes on ANY kind of sale was not only on sale, no, they are on BUY ONE GET ONE HALF OFF SALE! & THATS ON MOST OF THE COSMETICS & COSMETIC TOOLS! SO :) my haul included, 2 of the new h.i.p l'oreal matte shadow duos in #917 dashing, which is a black and a beige-ish brown. and #207 animated, which is a white and nice blue color. cant wait to use both! i also got a covergirl eye enhancer shadow quadin number #205 tropical fusion includes a royal blue color, a teal color, that is kinda heavy w. more green hues. a pretty orange and a sorta lime green color. love love love this pallete! very high in pigment! definitely going to do a post on this one :) i also got two more brushes ,one is a two for one, so technically i got 3 brushes lls.i got a new eyeliner brush, a blending brush and a smudging brush by studio 35 i also bought two easyline retractable pencils by jordana in bliss, which a teal color and purple fusion, which is obviously a purple :) i also got a incolor fabuliner liquid eyeliner pen by jordana as well in #01 black, definitely not into the pen liquid liner, i like the brush better, but i figure its worth a shot, right? so thats today's haul. yesterday, at walmart, i picked up some items from the hard candy line, i got 2 of their plexi glosses, in dolce vita, which is a clear nude color and i want candy, which a clear pink color. they are cute lil packaging, but i hate the damn tips of them, they definitely resemble the wet n wild speedgloss, click here for my post of these. same packaging & same applicator tip. i also picked up one of their color liners, take me out eyeline in chop suey which is definitely a dupe of the jordana retractable eyeliner pencil i got in bliss, damn there the same color. pics comin up soon cam is currently being used by my brother for his birthday tonite, well all day lls. so check back tomorrow for pics!

ugh. its 200 am and im sitting here waiting for my cotton candy pink nails to dry :) technically today is payday and all i can think about is what i want to get w. this check. karma has shots today which is going to be a huge drag, she's one aka she dont do well with shots. lets see...oh my lil brother turns 18 saturday, he says he still cant believe it, and i said the same thing :( i am currently reading a book on children affected by domestic violence, its apart of my one book a month venture until i start school in 2.5 months, give or take. umm. a friend of mine's baby is due today! hopefully lil Jordan decides to bless us w. his prescence :) lets see. what else?? i flippin broke my car, it was already f'd up in the sense that i couldnt open the driver side door without opening up my window and opening it up from the outside, but i knocked the gd window off track, so i cant even roll it down, which means that i have to a) climb out of the car via my passenger seat or b) unroll the back seat window behind me, stretch my tiny little arm to the door handle & open if from the outside. fml much? lls. i think thats truly it. i just figured i would do a random ass post since i was up and doin absolutely nothing. b.t.w THANK YOU & WELCOME TO ALL MY NEW & OLD FOLLOWERS! so once again i have been neglecting all my followers :( SOOO SORRY. between karma & work. i barely have a moments time to myself, cause once she is sleep, the hubby wants to have his time. so i just thought i would share some basic updates w. you guys.

1.karma had her first birthday. so now my lil one is a lil grown women ♥

2.unfortunately in these hard economic times, the fiance lost his job. i been helping him look for one. and its kinda rough out here. but nonetheless, we continue w. out heads held high, and full of hope

3.if most of you know i do have a weight loss blog, which i havent been updating. thats the bad news, the good news, is that i have been losing weight :)

4.i have been working my ass off. i was unemployed since may and just started back work in september, so clearly trying to get that incoming income back, ya dig?

5.seeing as how school is near for me, yay! january to be exact, i figured i would get back into the swing of things, and until january, read at least one book a month. i have novembers book in mind, the malcom x biography, which i will start on the first, december's book. i aint got a clue, suggestions are most definitely accepted! :)

6.i been on this drinking water binge like crazy! as of lately my skin had been going haywire and i felt that it was because i havent been incorporating water in my day to day routine, so needless to say, i have been seeing results.

7.nip/tuck my f'n favoritiest show in the world is coming back in like a day.

i think thats just about it for the time beings. i will try and update on a more regular basis only cause i know between this and twitter, these are slowly beating out myspace & facebook:)

tyler perry, true trooper.

wow. i never truly knew the full story on author.director.actor.producer. tyler perry, but he most recently released a letter to his fans, after watching what he called, his childhood, on screen while watching the movie, Precious. in the letter, perry tells us about the brutal physical abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, for whom he is named after but later obtained a legal name change, being sexual abused by a neighborhood women at the age of 1o, and how is grandmother would give him ammonia baths to rid him of his allergy germs. wow. needless to say as i was tellin bryan, its sad to hear things like this, but they are motivational if not inspirational especially for those who have gone thru incidents. i have to award mr. perry, he went from being homeless, to now owning the first all black production studio in atlanta. a true rag to riches story, go on mr. perry :)

-i bought these kinda outta haste, karma had finally gotten home from a week and a half vacay and i had just gotten off work, so i was uber excited :) i had changed my outfit, but never removed my make up, which actually kinda clashed w. my clothes after work. so my homegirl was getting off work, and i was suppose to follow her home to meet her neice, and target is right next door, so i went to kill time as well as to pick up karma's birthday present, so i was crusin the make up aisle and was like well let me try these out. so once i got in the car, and we waited for my friend, i decided to try these out. needless to say i was very impressed. most people complain of the harsh after effects they have w. some make up removers, especially around their eyes. these were negative effect free :), it removed all, and i mean ALL my make up, liquid eyeliner, mascara, the whole nine. like i mentioned, it did leave my sskin a little bit greasy, nothing that blotting a napkin wouldnt cure, but soon after blotting, my face was definitely a tad bit dry, nothing unbearable, but needless to say, after that, i definitely will start carryin a small travel size container of face moisturizer. they are travel size to fit in a purse or a gym back, tough on make up but gentle to the skin. i will definitely be buyin more of these :) all in all , they most definitely get MiMi'S GRADE A SEAL OF APPROVAL :)
